The Limestone Frolic was presented by Ipswich Libraries as part of Galvanized – A Festival of Heritage Ipswich Festivals
Dr. Heather Blasdale Clarke brought history to life with her incredible dance demonstrations with the accompaniment of Australia’s premier historical dance band, Phillip’s Dog.

Limestone Frolic 2023
The Limestone Frolics were held in 2023 as part of Galvanized: A Festival of Heritage. An Ipswich Libraries program, the dance was held at the Ipswich Art Gallery, which is housed in the former School of Arts and Town Hall, the site of many dances from Ipswich’s past.
